Ingredients

| 250 g | Flour |
| 20 g | Fresh yeast |
| 300 ml | Lukewarm water |
| 1 EL | Sugar |
| 1/4 TL | Salt |
| 100 ml | Honey |
| 1 TL | Cinnamon |
| 80 g | Walnuts (optional) |
| 500 ml | Oil for frying |
Preparation
- 1Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water with the sugar.
- 2Mix flour and salt, add the yeast water, and stir into a smooth, thick batter. Cover and let rise for about 60 minutes.
- 3Heat oil to 180 °C.
- 4Shape the batter into small balls with wet hands or a spoon and fry until golden brown.
- 5Drizzle the drained balls with honey.
- 6Sprinkle with cinnamon and chopped walnuts (optional) and serve warm.
Notes & tips
Note: Contains gluten (dough) + nuts (walnuts) + optional egg. Without nuts, egg substitute, gluten-free flour. Honey is fine. Soy-free.
