Dolmades (Stuffed Grape Leaves)
Grape leaves stuffed with rice, herbs, and lemon — a classic Greek meze.

Ingredients

| 30 Stück | Grape leaves (in jar) |
| 200 g | Short-grain rice |
| 2 Stück | Onions |
| 1 Bund | Parsley |
| 1/2 Bund | Mint (fresh) |
| 1/2 Bund | Dill |
| 3 EL | Lemon juice |
| 80 ml | Olive oil |
| je 1 Prise | Salt & pepper |
| 2 Stück | Lemon slices (for steaming) |
Preparation
- 1Remove the grape leaves from the jar, rinse them, and blanch briefly in hot water. Remove the stems.
- 2Finely dice the onions and sauté them in olive oil until translucent.
- 3Mix the rice with the herbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the filling.
- 4Place about 1 teaspoon of filling on each grape leaf, fold in the sides, and roll up tightly.
- 5Place the dolmades tightly in a pot, top with lemon slices, and barely cover with water/oil.
- 6Weigh down with a plate and simmer gently for about 40–45 minutes. Serve lukewarm.
Notes & tips
Note: Contains NO milk, egg, or soy — only gluten-free (rice) and grape leaves. Enhanced with lemon. Very low in allergens, ideal for.
