Ingredients

400 g Flour
200 ml Hot water
300 g Ground pork (or vegetables)
200 g Cabbage
3 Stück Spring onions
1 Stück (2 cm) Ginger
1 EL Soy sauce (or soy-free sauce)
1 TL Sesame oil (optional)
1 TL Salt

Preparation

  1. 1Knead flour with hot water into a smooth dough, let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. 2Finely chop cabbage, mix with salt and squeeze out.
  3. 3Combine ground meat with cabbage, spring onions, ginger, and soy sauce.
  4. 4Shape dough into a roll, cut into small pieces, and roll out into thin circles.
  5. 5Place filling on the circles, fold together, and press/fold the edges firmly.
  6. 6Steam dumplings in a steamer basket for about 10–12 minutes (or fry golden brown in oil and steam with a little water).
  7. 7Serve with a soy-free dip sauce (vinegar + ginger).

Notes & tips

Note: Contains gluten (dough) + possibly soy (dip). Dough made from flour/water without egg. Soy-free dip: Vinegar + ginger instead of soy sauce. Filling with ground pork or vegetables is low-allergen.
