Mashed Potatoes
Creamy mashed potatoes made from starchy potatoes with warm milk and butter. The most universal side dish — perfect with roasts, fish, and sausages.

Ingredients

| 1 kg | Potatoes (starchy) |
| 200 ml | Milk (warm) |
| 50 g | Butter |
| 1 TL | Salt |
| 1 Prise | Nutmeg (grated) |
Preparation
- 1 Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces, and boil them in salted water for about 20 minutes until soft.
- 2 Drain the water and let the potatoes steam briefly.
- 3 Press the potatoes through a ricer or mash them.
- 4 Stir in the warm milk and butter until the mashed potatoes are creamy.
- 5 Season with salt and nutmeg and serve immediately.
Notes & tips
Note: Contains cow's milk. The milk and butter must be warm, otherwise the mashed potatoes will become sticky. For a particularly fine texture, press the potatoes through a potato ricer instead of mashing them.
