200 ml Milk (warm)
50 g Butter
1 TL Salt
1 Prise Nutmeg (grated)

Preparation

  1. 1 Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces, and boil them in salted water for about 20 minutes until soft.
  2. 2 Drain the water and let the potatoes steam briefly.
  3. 3 Press the potatoes through a ricer or mash them.
  4. 4 Stir in the warm milk and butter until the mashed potatoes are creamy.
  5. 5 Season with salt and nutmeg and serve immediately.

Notes & tips

Note: Contains cow's milk. The milk and butter must be warm, otherwise the mashed potatoes will become sticky. For a particularly fine texture, press the potatoes through a potato ricer instead of mashing them.
