Ingredients
| 4 | Bananas |
| 50 g | Dark chocolate |
| 4 | Mandarins |
| 2 | Celery stalks |
Preparation
Step by step through the recipe
- 1 4 Peel the bananas and halve them lengthwise so that flat halves are formed.
- 2 50 g Melt the dark chocolate over a water bath and fill it into a small piping bag or freezer bag with the corner cut off.
- 3 Using the melted chocolate, pipe two small eyes and a mouth onto each banana half so that little ghosts are formed, and let the chocolate set briefly.
- 4 4 Peel the mandarins and remove the white fibers as completely as possible.
- 5 2 Wash the celery stalks, cut them into short pieces and insert one piece into the top of each mandarin as a stalk so that mini pumpkins are formed.
- 6 Arrange the banana ghosts and mandarin pumpkins on a plate and serve fresh.
Notes & tips
Variation: Instead of melted chocolate, dark chocolate chips or raisins can also be used for the eyes. Tip: Cut the bananas only shortly before serving and drizzle with a little lemon juice so they don't turn brown. Stored in a cool place, the ghosts and pumpkins keep for about half a day. Ideal for little hands to help with at kindergarten and children's birthday parties.
