10 Stück Jalapeños (large)
200 g Cream cheese
50 g Cheddar, grated
3 EL Flour
1 Stück Egg
60 g Breadcrumbs
1 EL Oil (for greasing)

Preparation

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat.
  2. 2 Halve the jalapeños lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. 3 Stir together the cream cheese and cheddar, fill the halves with the mixture, and reassemble each one.
  4. 4 Coat the poppers in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs.
  5. 5 Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes & tips

Note: Contains cow's milk, gluten, and egg. The heat level can be controlled by the amount of seeds — if you prefer it milder, remove the seeds completely.
