1 Stück (oder Zitronenzeste, Garnitur) Olive

Preparation

  1. 1 Put the gin and vermouth with plenty of ice into a mixing glass.
  2. 2 Stir cold for about 30 seconds — do not shake, so that the drink stays clear.
  3. 3 Strain into an ice-cold martini glass.
  4. 4 Garnish with an olive or a lemon twist and serve immediately.

Notes & tips

Note: Contains alcohol — not suitable for children or pregnant women. This Martini is made with gin; the Vodka Martini is a separate, different recipe. The ratio of gin to vermouth is a matter of taste (e.g. 6:1 = "dry").
