Espresso Martini
Vodka, fresh espresso and coffee liqueur — created in London in the 1980s and today a modern bar classic. Garnished with coffee beans (4th place in the Drinks International ranking 2025).

| 5 cl | Vodka |
| 3 cl | Espresso (fresh, chilled) |
| 2 cl | Coffee liqueur (e.g. Kahlúa) |
| 1 cl | Sugar syrup |
| nach Bedarf | Ice cubes |
| 3 Stück (Garnitur) | Coffee beans |
Preparation
- 1 Prepare the espresso fresh and let it cool completely.
- 2 Add vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur and sugar syrup with plenty of ice to the shaker.
- 3 Shake very vigorously for 10–15 seconds so that the foam crown forms.
- 4 Double strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with three coffee beans.
Notes & tips
Note: Contains alcohol — not suitable for children or pregnant women. The typical foam crown only forms with freshly prepared espresso and vigorous shaking.
