Paloma
Tequila with lime and grapefruit soda, served with a salt rim — in Mexico it is considered the most popular cocktail of all. Refreshing and easy to mix (No. 9 in the Drinks International ranking 2025).

| 5 cl | Tequila (100% agave) |
| 2 cl | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
| 10 cl | Grapefruit soda |
| 1 Prise (für den Glasrand) | Salt |
| nach Bedarf | Ice cubes |
| 1 Scheibe (Garnitur) | Grapefruit or lime |
Preparation
- 1 Moisten the rim of a highball glass with a lime wedge and coat it with salt.
- 2 Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- 3 Pour in the tequila and lime juice and top up with grapefruit soda.
- 4 Stir briefly and garnish with a slice of grapefruit or lime.
Notes & tips
Note: Contains alcohol — not suitable for children or pregnant women. With freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and club soda instead of grapefruit soda, the drink becomes less sweet and a bit more tart.
