Amounts are for the complete recipe — choose ½, 1 or 2.
| 8 cl | Vodka |
| 4 cl | Peach liqueur (e.g. Peachtree) |
| 8 cl | Orange juice |
| 8 cl | Cranberry juice |
| 2 cl | Grenadine syrup |
| nach Bedarf | Ice cubes |
| 2 Stück | Orange slices for garnish |
Preparation
- 1 Fill the two glasses (e.g. highball or long drink glasses) with ice cubes and set them aside briefly so they get cold.
- 2 Put the vodka, peach liqueur, orange juice and cranberry juice into a shaker filled with ice cubes.
- 3 Shake the shaker vigorously for about 10–15 seconds until it frosts on the outside.
- 4 Pour the ice out of the chilled glasses and fill the glasses with fresh ice cubes.
- 5 Strain the mixture through the bar strainer into the prepared glasses.
- 6 Carefully pour 1 cl of grenadine syrup each lengthwise over the surface so that it slowly sinks downward and forms a color gradient.
- 7 Garnish each glass with half an orange slice on the rim and serve immediately.
Notes & tips
Variation: For the alcohol-free version, replace the vodka and peach liqueur with 8 cl peach juice and 2 cl lemon juice. If you prefer it less sweet, use only 1 cl grenadine. The grenadine syrup is intentionally not stirred – it sinks to the bottom and creates the typical color gradient. Stir briefly before drinking. The cocktail tastes best freshly mixed; it does not keep well if prepared in advance.
